DPACR Data Protection Advisor Custom Reporting

    This course teaches participants how to build custom reports with Data Protection Advisor, using DPA data sources and external data sources, operators. Smart Groups and advanced analysis and rules are also covered. Pre-requisite Data Protection Advisor implementation and management exposure is required as this course takes a deeper dive into the custom reporting subject. Course content is based on EMC Data Protection Advisor version 6.2.1.

    COURSE OBJECTIVE:
    Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

    • Create custom reports by modifying existing ones or working from scratch
    • Describe the use of common operators and data sources

     

    TARGET AUDIENCE:
    This course is intended for anyone who needs to build custom reports using Data Protection Advisor .

    COURSE PREREQUISITES:
    To understand the content and successfully complete this course, a student must have a suitable knowledgebase/skill set. The student must have an understanding of Data Protection terminology, installation, administration, configuration and management prior to taking this class.
