AD660 Linux Fundamentals for SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA Administration
In this ocurse students will learn how to install and use Linux and Netweaver.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
In this course, you'll learn the administrative basics of Linux. This will enable you to perform your daily operation tasks on Linux-based SAP systems. Administrative activities, maintenance and security mechanisms are explained in conjunction with an SAP NetWeaver System.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
This course is intended for system manager, administrators and technical IT staff, who use SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA with various SAP solutions in a Linux environment (RedHat or SuSE). Participants will learn the necessary Linux knowledge focused and targeted for use with SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA.

• Hardware and Linux kernel • Install SuSE or RedHat • Administration Tools • Package management and kernel update • Startup and shutdown • Network configuration • Boards, file systems, raw devices, and swap • Manage users and groups • Customization of Linux for SAP installation • Installation of SAP Web Application Server 7.xx with MaxDB or Oracle • Network file sytems: NFS and SAMBA • Processes and monitoring tools • JavaGUI
