This Docker Containers course introduces the delegate to the main conceptsof Docker and its containers, images and orchestration. Subjects include Dockercomponents, container architecture, image repositories, containers as daemons,logs and events, limiting resources, creating Dockerfiles, Docker Compose andDocker Swarm.
The delegate will learn the key Linux commands to create and managecontainers as well as software installation, downloading containers, buildingimages, committing changes, exporting containers, building custom containersand orchestrating containers with Docker Compose and Swarm.
Practical real-life examples of containerization are used throughout onAlpine Linux, CentOS, Fedora, and Ubuntu, to build, configure and run popularapplications such as Apache, Nginx and WordPress.
Exercises and examples are used throughout the course to give practicalhands-on experience with the techniques covered.
