• Centera CAS

• Hadoop Clients: Non-secure and Secure Access

• ACLs, Retention, and Quotas

• ECS integration with Active Directory/LDAP

• Multi-tenancy
Module 6: Metering and Monitoring

Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:

• Provide an overview of the ECS solution, its components and typical deployment configurations

• Explain the ECS architecture, core software constructs, data flows, and internal operation

• Use the ECS portal to configure the system for object storage, local replication, and geo replication

• Customize and use supported object clients and Hadoop clients to access ECS storage

• Perform metering, monitoring, and basic health checks in an ECS environment

Familiarity with storage solutions in single and multi-site data center environments, including block, file, and object storage, and basic cloud concepts.

This course is intended for anyone who needs to manage, customize, monitor, or use an ECS system for data storage.
