SRMADM ViPR SRM for Storage Administrators
This course is intended for storage administrators who will be using ViPR SRM to monitor and report on a storage environment. Various ViPR SRM use cases are presented. Hands-on labs will cover the creation of localized dashboard views and reports which can be used to analyze common storage management issues related to performance, capacity planning, storage chargeback, configuration compliance, service level usage, and alerting.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
Upon successful completion of this course, participants should be able to: • Use the Dashboard and SolutionPacks to monitor and meter the storage infrastructure • Create and customize reports for common operational challenges • Define and attach alerts to events logged in reports and collected data • Analyze report data to locate and resolve infrastructure and compliance issues
