HPE_H1SD5S HPE Integrity NonStop X Architecture and Operational Management differences
This course provides you the knowledge to understand the architecture of HPE Integrity NonStop™ X BladeSystems and prepares you to operate and manage them. Server architecture, configuration and operations are compared and contrasted between NonStop™ X and NonStop™ i (NB-Series) servers. The course is a combination of lecture, live demonstrations and exercises using HPE Integrity NonStop™ X BladeSystems.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
At the conclusion of this course you should be able to:• Understand the architecture of the HPEIntegrity NonStop™ X BladeSystem, whichincludes the NS3 and NS7 models• Understand intelligent rack and power• Understand the NonStop Maintenance LANand the role of the NonStop System Console• List the differences in various areas betweenthe NonStop™ X and NonStop™ i• List the differences of the IP, Storage andOpen CLIMs between NonStop™ X andNonStop™ i• Knowing the modified SCF Cluster I/OProtocol (CIP) commands• Knowing the new CLIM commands• Become familiar with the updates to OpenSystem Management (OSM) ServiceConnection• Become familiar with using the OSM QuickStart Tool, System Startup Tool (SST),System Configuration Tool (SCT), HSS/HCA Firmware Management Wizard and theCLIM Receive Dump action• Understand Infiniband Clustering• Understand the NonStop Application DirectInterface (NSADI) technology• List the differences in the MeasureSubsystem• Understand the basic migration and relatedconsiderations
